This game beats Squadrons on almost every level - only the visuals of squadrons look clearly better. But for content and especially the skirmish mode - so much better back than and still today.

Best flight sim ever I think. Nothing has replaced it. Was obsessed with this game from 1998-2000, it got me into radio control model aircraft. I was in a virtual Cyber Squadron called Jasta 18 and flew as J18_Ritter von Fear. Good times.

The arcade version of Daytona USA turned 30 in March of this year.

I remember in the late 90's my dad used to play this game all the time. It was one of his favorite games. He wanted to play this game a few years ago, unfortunately, he recently passed away. I miss my dad so much. This game and the background music remind of him.

I liked the arcade version of Daytona USA the most. Sega Saturn and Dreamcast versions were still fun since aside of wheel- to- controller the general game mechanics changed very little once it went over to console. Never ran it on console with a force feedback wheel and pedal, personally.

Wrong tactic, pal. Set all laser power to engines to left Tie behind. In trench set all to shields and use lasers capacitors to rechage shields. Really was the easier mission in the game.

I am always amazed when I land this combo, and it happens way more often than I thought it ever would. I mean, I manage to get a combo almost every time I pick up of of these weapons. It's the most satisfying thing one can do in any game ever made.
